Mascara

Mascara is an eye make up product that darkens, thickens or lengthens eyelashes. Most mascaras use a "wand" for application, but there are some mascaras that come in cake form. Mascaras come in several colors, usually based on natural hair color, but there are some in unconventional make up colors like blue, green and red.

Aside from color, the two major make up distinctions among mascara products are waterproof or water-soluble. The benefits of waterproof mascara are that it tends to last longer, and you can perspire and participate in sports activities like swimming, and this make up will stay on. Non-waterproof mascara will obviously run if your eyes get wet, but it's much more gentle of the eyes. Waterproof mascara must be removed with make up remover, but most non-waterproof mascaras can be removed using plain old soap and water.

Make Up For Lips

Make up for lips is one of the most traditional make up product families. Although make up for lips dates back to the days of Cleopatra, Lipstick, Lip Liner and lip gloss didn't reach their current stage of popularity until the 20th century. Lipstick is the most popular and widely known of all make up for lips, but using tips to combine Lipstick, Lip Liner and lip gloss can result in a sexy, complete lip make up look.
