Getting "Smoky Eyes"

One of the most popular make up trends today is the "smoky eye" look. From countless magazine covers to the runways of Paris, Milan and New York, this sexy make up look can be yours by following a few simple tips.

First, apply a cream concealer make up to your eyelids to create a base for your eye shadow. Next, trace your lash line with an eyeliner make up pencil in black, gray or another dark color. Use that same eyeliner make up pencil to dot between your lower lashes. Then "smudge" the make up on both lash lines with a cotton swab or an eyeliner brush. Then apply a power eye shadow make up in a color like brown, gray or dark green, over your upper lid and into your crease, blending the make up upward and outward. After that, lightly apply a lighter, neutral eye shadow (like beige or ivory) over your brow bone. When you're done, apply two coats of black mascara.
