Covering Blemishes

With a little make up know-how and a few tips, you can be concealing beauty flaws and covering blemishes like an expert. In order to cover a blemish, you'll need yellow, lavender or green concealer make up (depending on your skin tone). Stick concealer make up tends to offer the best coverage. You'll also need foundation make up and some Face Powder.

The first step is to use a cleanser to make sure that your face is clean and free of make up. Next, apply either a green, lavender or yellow concealer make up to the blemish.

Tip: There are a lot of rules as to which make up concealer color works best with which skin tones, but it's truly best to go to a make up counter and try them each for yourself. After you've applied the concealer, blend the make up using a cotton swab or your finger tip, then apply your base foundation make up as usual and dust with some Face Powder to set.
