Accentuate Don't HideMake up can be a great tool to accentuate your natural assets. When using make up, focus your make up program to accentuate, rather than to hide, your features. By using make up to draw attention to your most beautiful features, you'll automatically be downplaying features that you would like to appear less prominent. In order to find out which of your features are the best, look at your face without any make up. If you have great eyes, but feel that your lips are one of your weak points, use make up to accentuate your eyes. Likewise, if you feel that your nose is too prominent, rather than to "hide" it with make up (which can look strange if you're not careful), use make up to draw attention to your eyes or lips. This tip can be used within individual features as well: for example, if your lips are cooked but full, you can accentuate their fullness to downplay any lopsidedness. |
